A Wilmington homeowner, husband, and father of twin boys, Austin is running to make the Auditor's office genuinely independent of the political machinery it is supposed to watch over.  His campaign is centered on the principle that accountability should not depend on which party holds the office.

Cassidy is a market analyst who works with small business owners daily and is a longtime advocate for political reform.  He was elected to a four-year term as a Conservation District Supervisor, where his colleagues selected him as Treasurer and later as Chairman, and he currently serves as Treasurer of a Pennsylvania nonprofit. 

Austin and his family are involved members of The Church of the Holy City in Wilmington, where he is the Building and Community Manager.
